Site notes

Kona has two manta feeding sites. Manta Village sits off Keauhou Bay; Manta Heaven sits off the Honokohau area. Operators choose the site based on nightly conditions. Reported sighting rates: Manta Village ~96%, Manta Heaven 90%+. On busy nights 20+ boats share the water. Hawaii Ocean Watch suspended its green-list program in 2023 over overcrowding concerns at these two sites.
